HR Manager Job Description

.A challenging opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Manager to work at not only at one fabulous hotel, with amazing facilities, an outside catering company and also at a newly acquired hotel. Both properties are very different catering for divers markets but all need to have a team working together to provide guests with an amazing experience. Finding the right people to work part of your team will one of the most challenging tasks and you will be part of their training and development. As a Senior Manager you will report directly to the General Manager. As part of the management team you will work with all staff to push standards forward and ensuring all team members have the skills necessary to meet these demands.

HR Manager Duties and Responsibilities

• You will ensure the needs of the business are achieved whilst ensuring full compliance with all legislative and statutory demands.
• Duties will be varied and will include:-
• Providing HR advice to all line managers and enabling them with the skills to deal with any HR matters.
• Make certain all company policies and procedures are followed
• Recruitment and resourcing for both hotels and other related businesses
• Compile and manage a candidate tracking system and interview process
• Staff training and Head of Department line training
• Payroll management and forecasting
• Health and safety management and training
• Staff retention is  key and you will continually review all procedures and look at employee recognition and rewards
• Monthly reports for all areas under your control
• Attend financial business reviews and management meetings as required
• CIPD / other HR related qualifications are preferred but not essential
